I'd be grateful for any information concerning my great-grandfather Thomas Parkinson, born around 1875 possibly at Pemberton, Lancashire. In 1896 he was a printer/pattern maker in Bolton, with addresses in Folds Road and Commission Street. He may well be the Thomas Parkinson (Engineers Pattern Maker) - son of Michael and Elizabeth Parkinson - shown in the 1901 Census as living with his wife Elizabeth E. at 35 Charles Holden Street, Bolton. During the decade 1911-1920 he is thought to have lived in the area of Leigh and St. Helens. Please contact me at |
